My name is Kevin Quick and I graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 1988 and have worked in the software industry ever since, primarily in the field of systems level programming.
- Device Drivers, primarily for Unix (Linux, Solaris, SunOS, HP-UX, AIX) and occasionally a Windows NT driver as well.
- Kernel software for:
- networking (10Base-T, FDDI, 100Base-T 100vg, and Fibre Channel)
- mass storage (SCSI, Fibre Channel)
- filesystems (special purpose Linux).
- Miscellaneous system and development tools (some of which you can find here).
- Systems emulation
- Business-oriented application solutions.
Contributor to various open-source projects, including:
- Project UDI leadership
- The scons build tool
- The darcs source code management system
- The NixOS packaging tool and operating system
